Sometimes our pets want to play, but we’re just too busy or we aren’t in the mood to join in. When this cockatoo named Harley wanted to play catch, she took matters into her own wings.
The silly bird found a yellow circle, probably a plastic lid to a jar or a tiny cup of hers. Harley picked up her new round toy and tossed it up into the air. Suddenly, the circle came crashing down to the wooden floor of her owner’s living room with a clank.
Her owner grabbed the camera and hit record, not wanting to miss this hilarious moment. The camera panned in every direction, following the white cockatoo and her laughableantics around the room.
The yellow toy flew up and down through the air, Harley’s beak clutching it and thrusting it to the sky repeatedly.
She waddled underneath her owner’s coffee table, and behind pieces of decor, determined to keep the game of catch, which she’d started with herself, going strong.
In the video below, posted on February 13, 2017, the energetic cockatoo continues her game of catch, but runs into a little bit of trouble.
At one point, she miscalculates her throw and loses track of her yellow sports equipment. She pauses, unsure of the yellow disc’s whereabouts. She slowly shifts left and sees a tiny hint of yellow sprout out from behind her owner’s brownfloor decoration.
